Salama School was started by a local entrepreneur. The school has positioned itself to provide quality education aimed at producing learners that can be admitted to the top secondary schools in the country. International school standards are closely monitored to ensure that Salama is abreast with the latest trends in teaching and learning. The school has grown from humble beginnings to become a leading performer in the national examinations. Generally, consumer spending in private education has been depressed over the years as a result of the Free Education (FE) initiatives introduced by the Government. However, Salama has managed to increase revenue despite the FE initiatives. This can be attributed to Salama’s retention of loyal customers and its ability to attract new customers who want smaller classroom teacher-learner ratios.
