Mazingira institute has received a report that has leveled unprecedented criticism on the institute’s public relations efforts. The report revealed that since its establishment in 1999, the institute has not succeeded in responding to the broad-based propaganda and incitement by the neighboring community. The report also emphasized that the lack of a central authority to execute a public relations policy is the main factor accounting for the institute’s failure in this area. Another key finding revealed that there was a lack of an overall strategic public relations conception and objective in the institute.
